Littérature: RIC 850 var. (UNLISTED WITH KA•B• MINTMARK)

Extremely rare and desirable obverse legend with BONO ("bonus = "good") title in combination with a scarce and pictorially very attractive reverse type. Probus was the only roman emperor to use such an unusual title in the whole roman coinage!  Beautiful example in black, even, shiny patina.

OBVERSE: BONO IMP C PROBO AVG
REVERSE: PROVIDEN DEOR = Providentia standing right, holding two standards, facing Sol standing left, right hand raised, left hand holding globe
BUST TYPE: A2 = radiate, cuirassed and draped bust right, seen from back
