1895 Oschatz - 1959 Pesterwitz
Malarz niemiecki, pejzażysta i animalista. Rozpoczął studia w Królewskiej Akademii Grafiki i Książki w Lipsku, którą porzucił. W latach 1918-1922 studiował w Drezdeńskiej Akademii Sztuk Pięknych pod kierunkiem Emanuela Hegenbartha. Od 1933 do 1942 był nauczycielem w Obernaundorf. Powołany do wojska w czasie II wojny dostał się do niewoli. Od 1946 r. aż do śmierci pracował jako niezależny malarz w Pesterwitz. Pracował głównie jako malarz zwierząt i pejzaży.
