ARTIST ABOUT THE SCULPTURE:
About 25 species of wood, both European and also exotic, have been used in the sculpture. The wood is not impregnated to preserve its natural color.
The use of different species of wood to express content in sculpture is one of the more important areas in my work.
BIO ARTIST:
Born in 1987 in Zakopane, Poland. Graduated from the A. Kenar State High School of Fine Arts in Zakopane (2007), majoring in Sculpture (2013) and completed doctoral studies in Fine Arts (2017) at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. He works at his home university as an assistant in the Department of Interior Design and Sculpture.
Author of five solo exhibitions and a participant of over 40 group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Member of the International Federation of Medal Art FIDEM, Polish Association of Medal Art and President of the "Open" Art Association.
He creates mainly in wood, both small sculptural forms as well as several meter high projects. In the area of his creative interests are also medal making, designing statuettes, woodcarving reconstructions and gingerbread forms.
