Italian silver coffee pot - Naples 1809-1823

Ovoid smooth body resting on three ferine peids, zoomorphic spout, hinged lid with acorn final.
Hallmarked with the mark in use by the goldsmiths' guild of Naples for silver at a fineness of 833/1000 in use from 1808 to 1823 and with the mark of an unidentified master silversmith active in 1818 and already found on a cross from the convent of S. Caterina in Teano.
Height 28.5 cm, width including handle 21.5 cm. Weight 867 g.
